It’s only the first week of school, but do you feel it? Papers, phone calls, parties, midterms, mothers, mistakes, boyfriends, girlfriends, bi-friends, friendships, roommates, mixing, working, charging, paying bills, rushing, Facebook, religion, drugs, dads, exercising, identifying, judging, applying, sleeping, eating and… living. It’s a lot.

I’ve Come to Reclaim Your Country on Behalf of Her Majesty, Queen of England

To the four of you reading this; thank you for taking time out to look at my drivel. Changing up my usual humorous take on American life, I feel I have to play a serious note this week by addressing something that has been bothering me for quite some time. I am talking about the homeless in Santa Barbara and, moreover, in America as a whole.

Margaritaville – Population: You

Whoever came up with the phrase, “One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor,” knew what he/she was talking about. Tequila is an evil alcoholic beverage and can get the best of you if you’re not careful. I had a tequila disaster about six years ago and have only recently been able to stomach it again in the form of margaritas, which go perfectly with the warm weekends. Who doesn’t like a refreshing margarita on a hot day? Saturday was that perfect day.
