At 3:12 p.m. Thursday afternoon, an armed man stole an undisclosed amount of money from Lily’s Fashion at 956 Embarcadero del Norte.

Isla Vista Foot Patrol Lt. Tom McKinny said the suspect walked into the local clothes boutique, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene.

Although McKinny would not confirm how much money was stolen during the incident, he did classify the amount as “small.”

Witnesses describe the suspect as being a slender white male around 5 feet 6 inches tall with an acne-ridden complexion. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket, a black backpack and dark pants.
