The Daily Nexus is seeking ambitious students who are interested in joining our 2011-2012 staff. After attending a brief training session, students may be hired for paid positions as staff writers, photographers, artists and web developers. You can drop by for a half-hour training session any day from Monday, Sept. 26 to Thursday, Sept. 29 (the first full week of classes) at 5:00 in the Nexus office under Storke Tower. Those interested in working as Nexus photographers are also encouraged to submit portfolios of 10-15 of their best shots (though the photo editor requests “no flowers or sunsets”) to photo@dailynexus.com as well as those who are interested in working on our new web team are encouraged to complete the application form and portfolio and turn it in to the office or email online@dailynexus.com Writers: please bring a notebook and pen/pencil — journalism essentials!
